Who we are and what this covers

Ramelu Inc. ("Ramelu", "we") makes puzzle, card and board games. These terms apply to our apps for iPhone, iPad and Android, the web versions of our games, and this website. By downloading or playing one of our games you agree to them. Our privacy policy explains what happens to your data.

Your licence to play

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use our games on devices you own or control, for your own enjoyment and not for commercial use. The games are licensed, not sold.

• App Store downloads are also covered by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Where it and these terms differ, Apple's agreement applies to your use of the app.
• Google Play downloads are also covered by the Google Play Terms of Service.

Please don't copy, resell or redistribute the games, try to take their code apart, or use them to break the law. We may end your licence if you do; otherwise it lasts until you delete the game.

Purchases

Some games offer optional purchases: Remove ads (a one-time purchase in each app that has it) and, in Ramelu Daily, a subscription. Every purchase is made through the App Store or Google Play, which charge you, keep the record of what you own and apply their own terms. Prices are shown in the app before you buy, in your currency, as the store sets them.

Purchases are tied to your App Store or Google Play account. Use Restore purchases in the game's Settings to get them back on a new device signed in to the same account. They don't carry over between an Apple device and an Android one.

The Ramelu Daily subscription

• What it includes: the archive of past daily pages, no ads in Ramelu Daily, and more puzzles from each of its games. What's included may grow or change as puzzles are added.
• Plans: monthly or yearly, at the price shown in the app before you subscribe.
• Free trial: where a free trial is offered, it turns into a paid subscription when the trial ends, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. You can have one free trial per store account.
• Automatic renewal: your subscription renews automatically for the same length and price, and your store account is charged within 24 hours before each period ends, until you cancel.
• Price changes: if the price changes, the App Store or Google Play tells you before it applies, and asks for your agreement where the law or its rules require.
• No ads or the archive without it: today's page, the past week and your streak stay free, with ads, whether or not you subscribe.

How to cancel

You can cancel at any time. You keep what the subscription includes until the end of the period you've paid for; it then doesn't renew. Deleting the app does not cancel it.

• iPhone and iPad: open Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions, choose Ramelu Daily, then Cancel Subscription. Or tap Manage subscription in the app's Settings.
• Android: open the Google Play Store, tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions, choose Ramelu Daily, then Cancel. Or tap Manage subscription in the app's Settings.

Refunds

Because Apple and Google take the payment, only they can give refunds, under their own rules. To ask for one: for the App Store, go to reportaproblem.apple.com; for Google Play, see Google Play's refund help. Nothing in these terms takes away the rights you have as a consumer where you live.

Ads and optional videos

The free games show ads between puzzles, never in the middle of one. Some offer an optional short video in exchange for extra help or, in Ramelu Daily, one archive page for the day. Watching is always your choice. Rewards from videos and in-game coins have no money value, can't be sold or exchanged, and aren't refunded.

Our content, and yours

The games, their puzzles, pictures, words and sounds belong to Ramelu or its licensors. Some pictures and texts are in the public domain and are credited in the games. If a game lets you share a picture or code of something you made, you're responsible for where you share it.

No guarantees, and limits

We work hard to make the games fun and reliable, but they are provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we don't promise they will always be available, error-free or suit a particular purpose, and we aren't responsible for indirect losses, such as lost progress. Where the law doesn't allow these limits, they apply only as far as it does. Your saved games live on your device: deleting the app or clearing its data deletes them.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when a game adds a feature. We'll change the effective date above and, for a change that matters, say so in the app before it applies to you. If you keep playing after that, the new terms apply.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York and the United States, without taking away any protection the law of your own country gives you as a consumer.
